How much fun was shop class back in the day? Creating and building something with your own hands. Remember the feeling of accomplishment when you were done? Bringing whatever you created home. There are many things we can build this holiday season with our children or on our own. For the “Let’s do this!” crowd Home Depot has been giving out beginner projects for little ones to do with family. This kit comes with all pieces needed to complete minus the hammer.

This activity is one you can do anytime of year, of course. There are many ideas for beginners and those who are masters, as well. Safety discussions are a must.
