Marlena Wendrick, a pre-licensed professional counselor, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Science in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from Chestnut Hill College. She currently serves as a Legal Services Coordinator for the Statewide Adoption and Permanency Network, with over 12 years of expertise in the Child Welfare field.  Marlena customizes counseling sessions using a holistic approach to address individual needs and foster self-awareness and personal responsibility. Drawing on her extensive experience in Child Welfare,  she specializes in helping individuals process trauma, grief, loss, and identity issues related to adoption and the adoption search process.  Marlena is particularly passionate about supporting Millennials and single women as they navigate the distinctive generational dynamics in both personal and professional realms.  Her focus includes guiding single women through societal expectations, especially those diverging from conventional paths of marriage and family, and providing assistance in navigating the complexities of modern dating.
