First, let’s talk about family what is it? What does it mean? We are all born into some kind of a family. There are also friends who become family. Lastly, there is community in which you live. Kids and parents you may see daily getting the mail, at the courts, or on the field. The ones you work with, see at the gym, place of worship, or share hobbies. Maybe even coffee or tea with throughout the week. The people that life has sent your way to remind you, you are not alone.

When you read the 25 Tips remember family as the definiton described above. We do not have to be in the same home to share these connection tips. Because we live in a time where Facetime, Zoom, Google Duo, Instagram live, and other platforms are used, we can connect much easier. Do you know people who do not use or know how to use these platforms? Remember getting a letter in the mail addressed to you still feels good. Lets get creative!

When decorating your home this holiday, pick a piece (ornament, decoration, picture, item) that has a memory attached to it. Share that memory and story with your loved one. Each of you share a special moment with the other. Were you part of the memory? If so, share what you remember as well. Keep it fun, light, and about connecting with one another. Happy Holidays and Breathe Easy…
