5,4,3,2,1, Lights! Looking at the holiday lights and decorations is one of my all time favorite things to do. People really get creative. Do you have a Clark Griswold in your neighborhood? Even if you are not a holiday buff, you must admit that when all the homes are lit up it is quite beautiful. Many farms and large open properties host light shows and drive by shows to enjoy with family, friends, or even solo. I remember a few homes in recent areas in which I lived hosting lights shows that go along with radio stations. You park, turn on the station, and enjoy the melody and lights from your car. You can find these events in your local paper, and also local Facebook groups.

So grab your favorite non-alcoholic beverage, and drive on over. It is safe since you do not come in contact with anyone other then the people in your car. Make sure to bring your mask just in case this year. Especially remember to bring your camera and a smile. I have included a link to a few places that are doing this right now in the nearby area.

Remember if the light show is not your thing, you can always drive through a nearby neighborhood. You can walk through your own if you like as well. Bundle up, grab your hot cocoa, and go admire the hard work put in to make the season sparkle. And as always Breathe Easy…
