Patricia Wright is a registered yoga instructor and children’s yoga instructor as well as a certified mindfulness teacher and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Teacher. She is founder of Mind-Body Wellness where she provides group, individual, partner and family sessions focused on cultivating mindful, conscious, and empowered living. Her work integrates psychology and mindful awareness practices to teach essential life skills that support stress reduction, emotional regulation, healthy relationships, self-care, and overall physical, emotional and mental well-being.

As a former educator, Patricia introduced mindfulness to students to help them self-regulate, manage big emotions, stay focused in the classroom and learn. She served as a trainer for the nationally recognized Yoga 4 Classrooms and as a trauma-informed mindfulness speaker for PESI, Inc. Through her research and experience as a yoga and mindfulness trainer/speaker in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and other states, Patricia authored the Trauma-Informed Mindfulness for Educators training manual. This resource is the foundation for a s six-hour professional development course used in Allentown’s elementary, middle and high schools, as well as in other districts across the Lehigh Valley and beyond. The training helps school staff implement simple, effective strategies to support students in self-regulation and learning throughout the day. It also emphasizes self-care tools for staff members to manage stress and enhance physical, emotional, and mental well-being.

Patricia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts Degree in Teaching from Marywood University. Her passion for mind-body wellness is fueled by her ongoing study of current research in the field. Known for her natural ability to form genuine connections and communicate clearly across all age groups, Patricia brings her expertise to each session with compassion, presence, and heart. In her free time, she enjoys walking, biking, gardening, traveling and pending quality time with family and friends.
