After all the discussions about eating delicious foods and the holiday table; it is only right we discuss family fitness, and physical health. There are many ways to enjoy getting or staying fit together as family that are accessible. Many local gyms have been practicing social distance and cleaning standards put in place by the CDC. If you are fearful, or concerned, call your local gym and ask what is in place to help ease your nerves. There are places including zoom workouts and personal training sessions online in order to accommodate clients needs.

If you prefer working out at home, peloton offers an app with a host of workouts to use at home, as well. You do not need to own the equipment to make use of the application, only some. In addition, you can create your own family fun. A family 5K before or after the main holiday event is something fun for all ages. A game of football, or family softball if you have a large family. If you are running solo remember to share your progress with a friend. Sometimes having that accountability partner is everything.

There are plenty of ways to work off the holiday meal as well as enjoy time with family. Check out your local gym for ideas.
