Planning the holiday meal can be very stressful whether it is for 3 people or 30. This year has been hard financially on many people, and businesses. Particularly those in the service industry. I remember meeting many single parents, college kids, and those working for extra money around this time of year, during my time as a server/bartender. Many hours on your feet, but worth the reward in tips. It was a satisfying feeling to get that extra cash from the party you served. Knowing you did your job, with a smile, and gave someone a beautiful experience.

This year when you think about your holiday table, and what you will serve, think about adding something catered. We are a strong force, people in communities that think about one another. We can help support local businesses and in turn, help them support their staff. Black River Farms in the Lehigh Valley is offering catered food from Feast catering and will even deliver to your doorstep on Christmas Eve. I have had the pleasure of sampling some of their food and baked goods and let me tell you it is so worth it! Black River winery also pairs wine and Wardog Spirits to your holiday dish. Remember you can use a break in the 2020 stress and holiday planning stress. In addition, these local businesses and staff can use continued business through these shut downs. In the true spirit of the season if able, let us continue the tradition of giving and supporting each other. Happy Holidays and as always Breathe Easy!
